Ford will sometimes contribute to the very high replacement costs of dual mass flywheels and clutches if the car has done less than 45,000 miles. On diesels used as taxis, DMFs and clutches typically last 30,000 - 40,000 miles. TDCI injectors seem to be very fuel sensitive. Many have needed to be replaced after 3-4 years and circa 60,000 miles.
For the last 6 months I have been having a slight 'judder' in my engine. This happens between 1,500 rpm and 2,000 rpm and only once the car has warmed up to its optimum 90degree temperature. the feel and the sound is like before you are about to stall or haven't given enough power when pulling away.
