The owner's manual says not to downshift into first gear above 15mph but I believe that is way too high. I would not downshift into first until the speed is below 5mph. @wavsine.

"The spec. for oil pressure is 29-60 psi @ 2,000 rpm when at operating temperature." I can't believe the range is so large, but if that's what it is, then I have no worries with my car.

But i took her for a decently long drive yesterday and half way through, the Tachometer went nuts and turned itself 1000 rpm off. At idle, it sat just above 2000 revs. but it sounded and felt normal. The car drove just fine, minus the tach telling me ~3300 at 60mph!! THEN it went 2000 rpm off! again, idle at 3k and cruising at ~4300!!!
